Individual and Semi-Private Instruction
One-on-one yoga, much like personal fitness training , is tailored to your individual needs. Sessions are 60 minutes to allow you to work privately with Susan to create a practice that makes sense for your body and your level of experience. While all yoga supports you physically, emotionally, and spiritually, one-on-one yoga lets you work on what make sense for you-at your own pace. There are several reasons why you should add private sessions to your weekly practice. They are helpful if:
- You are a beginner and you would like to get started in yoga without being intimidated or overwhelemed.
- You want to go to the next level in your practice or work more in-depth.
- You have injuries (shoulders, back, knee) or health concerns (chronic headaches, arthritis, stress, insomnia, women's issues).
- You want to work toward a specific physical goal such as increased balance, flexibility, or strength; or target problem areas like tight hamstrings, tight hips, or weak knees, or to increase your mental focus in a particular sport or activity.
- You want to add yoga to your weight-loss or strength-training program.
- You want to cross-train for marathons or triathlons.
- You want to learn more about yourself-gaining self-awareness without judgement.
- You can also sign up for semi-private sessions (for you and a friend) or invite up to three others to join you.
- One-on-one instruction appropriately adapted for specific health conditions such as surgery recovery, imbalances in strength or flexibility, pain or injury. Sessions are designed specifically for students with heart diease, cancer, MS, or other chronic conditions.
Cost
